‘Mean Girls’ Will Open August 12 at Cape Playhouse

C Playhouse Mean Girls Victoria
Victoria Mozitis will star as Cady Heron is the Cape Playhouse’s upcoming production of “Mean Girls.”

Cape Playhouse in Dennis will present the musical “Mean Girls,” from Wednesday to Saturday, August 12 through 29.

The show is based on the 2004 movie of the same name; it will be directed and choreographed by Al Blackstone.

From Tina Fey’s breakout film that brought Regina George and the Plastics to life to the Broadway smash hit, this show is a relatable examination of stereotypes and roles, and the ability to influence culture. Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home in the American suburbs.

The principal cast of “Mean Girls” includes Ryan Bronston as Aaron Samuels and Victoria Mozitis as Cady Heron, along with Scarlett Diaz, Danielle Kelsey, Dashawn McClinton, Tanzil Eishan Phili, Lav Raman, Jody Reynard, Caroline Siegrist and Lizzy Tucker.
