2026 SUMMER SESSIONS
Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin KIDS is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her.
Based on the classic animated film, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney’s most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita’s former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat.
Do you want to build a snowman? You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love.
If you’re obsessed with musicals and want to become a true triple threat, you must join us for the Cape Playhouse Broadway Bootcamp! Students will learn foundational technique in each aspect of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing. Culminating in a final showcase, students can flex all their new skills for family and friends on stage in musical numbers from hit shows like Newsies, Something Rotten!, Into the Woods, Mary Poppins, and more. Don’t miss the chance to grow as a performer, build confidence, and make lasting friends on the way!
Through our one-week Broadway Bootcamp, students will take a variety of classes each day, such as Vocal Technique, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, How to Create a Character, Basic Musicianship, etc. This session is perfect for aspiring performers with some experience in one or more of these disciplines. The goal is that each participant walks away with a new theatrical vocabulary and skill set that will support their growth and success in every production they work on for the rest of their lives.
Grease: School Version retains the fun-loving spirit and immortal songs of the blockbuster show, but removes any profanity, lewd behavior, and Rizzo’s pregnancy scare. The song “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” is also deleted from this edition. Grease: School Version is approximately 15 minutes shorter than the standard version of Grease.
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea and became the hottest star on Broadway? Why, it’s SpongeBob SquarePants! If you have a young comedian in your midst, this one-hour edition of the hit Broadway musical, brilliantly adapted from the iconic Nickelodeon series, is specially tailored for young actors looking to expand their comedic talents. With larger than life character-acting and physical comedy, students will develop the skills to land that laugh on stage in Bikini Bottom!
This “fetch” musical from book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and composer Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is packed with keen wit, an undeniably catchy score, and a sincere message for everyone. Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order?
