TWO TIME TONY NOMINEE KICKS OFF 89TH SEASON

bethBeth Fowler will star in the Broadway comedy-drama THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN as Alexandra, a 79-year-old artist in a showdown with her family over where she’ll spend her remaining years.

Beth Fowler has been nominated twice for Tony Awards: first, as Mrs. Lovett in the 1989 revival of SWEENEY TODD, and then opposite Hugh Jackman in THE BOY FROM OZ. Beth also created the role of Mrs. Potts on Broadway in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST among her dozen Broadway appearances.

She currently stars as Sister Ingalls in the hit Netflix original series, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, and has a long career in television and films.
