His many Broadway credits include: ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT for which he received The Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards. Also, BORN YESTERDAY, MEMPHIS, IS HE DEAD, SPAMALOT (Tony and Drama Desk Award noms.), WONDERFUL TOWN, LITTLE ME, SWINGING ON A STAR (Theatre World Award),THE GOODBYE GIRL, MY FAVORITE YEAR, FOLLIES (Encores), THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE (Encores) and DuBARRY WAS A LADY(Encores). Off-Broadway credits include his critically acclaimed portrayal of Groucho in the first New York revival of the Marx Brothers Classic THE COCOANUTS. Also, Appearing in THE LOUISIANA PURCHASE, THE BUTTER AND EGG MAN, Cy Colemanʼs EXACTLY LIKE YOU, GAME SHOW and FORBIDDEN BROADWAY. On television he served as sidekick and co-host to Martin Short on CBSʼs THE MARTIN SHORT SHOW.
